Teacher Appreciation Week Ideas

Teacher Appreciation Week is the week where we get to show our appreciation to teachers by giving them gifts to make them feel special.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

The Early Childhood Educators (ECE) week can be different from a place to another.

In Canada,It’s:

April 26 – May 2

As a teacher who spent many years celebrating this week. I got creative to make a weekly planner ideas  that I find interesting.

If you are a daycare provider who is reading this, You don’t have to follow all of them but at least pick some from this list.  It will make your staff feel appreciated and special

Then, let your staff grab one randomly so they know what to bring.

Thursday

For the gift exchange: It can be a goodies bag that includes an appreciation note.

Shared thoughts: Invite parents and children to share their thoughts about every teacher.

Friday

Customed blankets: This can be a cozy, plush blanket that has the name of the teacher engraved in it with the daycare  (school) logo.

Every teacher, like to feel appreciated for all the hard work they do. Small gestures like this will mean a lot to them.
