We recently got this game at home, and honestly, even after reading the instructions, we still had questions the first time we played. My child was so excited to try it, so I wanted to break it down in a simple, parent-friendly way.

In this post, I’ll explain the basics and answer common questions like:

  • When do you owe other players money?
  • What happens when someone asks for more cards than exist?

🎯 What Is the Goal of the Game?

The goal is simple:

👉 Be the first player to collect 3 complete item sets in different colors.

These item sets represent things like:

  • Songs 🎤
  • Posters 📸
  • Light sticks ✨
  • And more!

Each card tells you how many you need to complete a set.

🎮 How a Turn Works (Simple Version)

Each turn is very quick:

  1. Draw 2 cards
  2. Play up to 3 cards
  3. Build your sets, use action cards, or add fans (money)

That’s it!

💰 When Do You Owe Other Players Money?

This is one of the most confusing parts!

👉 You only owe money (fans) when another player plays an action card on you.

For example:

  • A card like Go Viral can make all players pay fans
  • Some cards may target just one player

💡 Important:

  • You never pay from your hand
  • You only pay from your Fan Club (cards placed in front of you)

❓ What If Someone Asks for 6 Cards But There Are Only 3?

This is such a good question — and yes, it’s confusing at first! 😅

👉 The number is not based on how many cards exist in the deck.

Instead, it’s based on how many item cards that player has in front of them.

Example:

If a player has:

  • 3 red item cards

And they play a card like Go Viral, they can ask each player to pay 3 fans.

So:
✔ It’s about what they built
❌ Not about how many cards are in the deck
